Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with strong technical expertise in flour milling or similar process-based industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, reliability, and continuous improvement of all mill machinery and utilities, driving maximum plant uptime and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee the preventive and predictive maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment in the flour mill.
  • Ensure minimal downtime through effective troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and timely corrective actions.
  • Lead and guide the maintenance team in executing maintenance activities as per standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and improve equipment reliability, performance, and energy efficiency.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance schedules, breakdown records, and spare parts inventory.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory compliance, and company maintenance policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed Indian university.
  • 10–12 years of hands-on experience in maintenance within a flour mill or similar food processing / manufacturing industry.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and execution for process plant equipment.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
  • Sound understanding of equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Proficiency in English communication (written & verbal) and team coordination.
  • Leadership, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
