Department: Engineering – Flour Milling Division

Location - Nigeria, Africa

Job Summary
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing engineering operations within the flour milling division, ensuring optimal plant performance, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering activities related to plant maintenance, utilities, and projects.
  • Ensure smooth operation of flour milling machinery with minimal downtime.
  • Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of milling equipment.
  • Manage engineering team performance, training, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet operational targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Control maintenance budgets, spare parts planning, and vendor management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 5–15 years of engineering experience in flour milling or similar process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of milling machinery, utilities, and plant maintenance practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Good problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety norms and regulatory compliance.
