These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AltMass (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.
You must provide accurate registration information and be legally permitted to use online gaming/quiz services in your jurisdiction. AltMass is built with students of all ages in mind, including learners at Primary and Secondary level, so general gameplay — quizzes, trivia, XP, coins, and achievements — is intended to be accessible and safe for younger students, ideally with a parent, guardian, or teacher's awareness.
Features involving real money — including cash rewards/withdrawals, Premium subscriptions, and My Ads — are intended only for users who are of legal age to enter into a binding contract in their jurisdiction, or who have the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are using these features on behalf of a minor, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
Admin: confirm and, if needed, tighten this section (e.g. with explicit age-gating on payment features) based on the laws of the jurisdictions where you operate.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. One account per person — creating multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards, referrals, rewards, or competitions is not allowed (see Fair Play below). Notify us immediately via the Contact page if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
XP & Levels. You earn XP by playing games, completing daily challenges, and other activities described on the Platform. XP determines your level and leaderboard position and has no cash value.
Coins. Coins are a separate virtual currency earned through daily login bonuses and achievement bonuses, spendable only in the Coin Shop on cosmetic items and lifeline reuses. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, transferred, or exchanged for cash, and the coins feature (including all amounts) may be adjusted or disabled by us at any time.
Cash Rewards & Wallet. Where enabled, a portion of your XP may separately accrue toward a redeemable cash balance, withdrawable once you reach the minimum threshold via the payout methods we make available. Cash rewards are entirely at our discretion, may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time, and are not a guarantee of income. We may require identity or payment-detail verification before processing a withdrawal, and may decline or reverse a reward where we reasonably suspect fraud or a Terms violation.
Quiz Rooms. Rooms let you play privately with people you invite via a room code. You're responsible for the conduct of your own room and for not sharing a room code with anyone you wouldn't want participating.
Competitions. Sponsored or featured competitions, where offered, are governed by their own published rules, eligibility requirements, and prize terms, in addition to these Terms.
AI Quiz Generator & Creating Quizzes. Content you submit to generate or build a quiz must comply with Section 5 (Content Rules) below. Generated and submitted quizzes may be reviewed or moderated, automatically or by our team, before publishing, and we may reject or remove content that violates these Terms.
Premium. Premium is an optional paid subscription unlocking benefits such as a higher AI generation limit, an ad-free experience, and advanced statistics, for the duration of your subscription period. Pricing and included benefits are shown on the Premium page and may change; renewal, cancellation, and billing are handled through our payment processor.
My Ads. Advertisers fund a personal Ad Wallet and set a budget and cost-per-click for their own ads, shown to other users. We don't guarantee any level of ad performance (clicks, conversions, or engagement), and ads are subject to our content and advertising policies, may be rejected or removed at our discretion, and unused Ad Wallet funds are handled per our (or your local) refund policy.
To keep the Platform fair for everyone, the following are prohibited and may result in warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or a permanent ban:
Quizzes, posts, comments, profile content, and anything else you create or submit must not contain hateful, sexual, violent-extremist, plagiarized, or otherwise infringing content, and must not be false or misleading in a way likely to cause harm (particularly in exam-prep categories, where accuracy matters). We reserve the right to review, moderate, reject, or remove any content that violates these Terms, with or without notice.
You retain ownership of quizzes and other content you create, but by publishing it on the Platform you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it as part of the service.
The AltMass name, logo, and platform design are our property (or used under license) and may not be used without permission. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute Platform content or functionality except as this service is intended to be used.
The Platform uses third-party services — including Paystack for payments, an AI provider for quiz generation, and optionally Google/Facebook for login and Google AdSense for advertising. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms; we're not responsible for third-party services' availability or conduct.
The Platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, the accuracy of user- or AI-generated content, or any particular exam outcome from using our practice content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice depending on severity. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time via the Contact page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Admin: set this to wherever your legal entity is registered.
We may update these Terms from time to time as the Platform evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
